Ditty Brown

The Ditty Bag began with the historical sailors' ditty - a small pouch carried at sea to hold tools and sewing kits. I wanted to reinterpret this utilitarian object through Italian craftsmanship, so I worked with artisans to develop a custom water-resistant neoprene that could be hand-woven. By weaving the material directly through the surface of the bag, with a bold blue accent, I've given the traditional Italian intreccio technique a contemporary twist. 

The drawstring allows for a multifunctional design; the brown cotton cord can be adjusted so the bag can be worn cross-body, over the shoulder, or as a small accessory with two handles - we want you to be playful! 

Designed in Milan and handcrafted by our founder in Florence, Italy. Delivered to you in a custom 100% cotton POCCA dustbag.
